THE ART OF SAW FILING, SCIENTIFICALLY TREATED AND EXPLAINED ON PHILOSOPHICAL PRINCIPLES...H. W. Holly, 1864/1882. Before there was Hodgson, before there was Grimshaw, there was H. W. Holly. Originally published in 1864 and re-issued for more than 25 years, this is one of the earlier treatises on saw care and saw sharpening. This edition is from 1882. Other than a different cover and some minor pagination changes, it is the same as the 1864 edition. Unfortunately, my 1864 edition is missing two pages.
