Late Victorian styled letterhead to the F. R. Patch Mfg. Col, Rutland, Vt. concerning a delay of a shipment of a "special mosaic machine' to the Pike Mfg. Co. from the Patch Mfg. Co. In addition, there was a delay in a scythe stone machine of experimental design. These machines where intended to reduce the cost of sawing oilstone rock.

Receipt to R. R. Carter & Co. Curiously, the receipt notes: Established 1826, Succeeded in 1897 by The H. Chapin's Son Compy. Apparently they did not feel the need to point out from whom they had succeeded.

Chester, Conn., Mar. 17, 1911. One of the lesser known makers of boring bits of all sorts. Never let it be said that J. S. Deuse let any opportunity for advertising to slip by.

An unusual full width graphic letterhead. With this modern letterhead, North Bros. was intent on showing that they had moved on from 19th C influences. Even so, they retained a vignette of a factory with tall chimneys billowing smoke. Sold to Myers Hdwe, Col, Lexington, Va. R. Carter & Co. of New York, as the wholesaler, arranged for replacement steel balls for a Yankee #41 Drill, supplied free of charge

Interesting lot of transitional and iron planes. Unfortunately they could not furnish a #0220 at that time. A nicely composed billhead with serif fonts.

A large lot of transitional, iron and wooden planes plus 1/2 gross jack plane handles. Obviously those trades people where hard on jack planes. Unlike the other two Ohio Tool billheads, this one offers the typical turn of the century design with florid engravings and multiple fonts styles.
